Hey Fund Members & Friends,
The Firemen’s Fund Annual Golf Outing will be held June 11, 2012 @ Gowanie Country Club in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. This venue is a private golf club in a beautiful country club setting with all the amenities.
This tournament will be a four man team scramble with a shotgun start with all teams playing a skin game.
Lunch will be served starting at 11:00am during the sign up time with a 12:00 shotgun start. The price will be $100.00 a man with $400 for a foursome, with everyone receiving nice gifts and a great dinner after golf. Also each golfer will receive four drink tickets on the course.
The Fund will also be hosting a 1st Annual Detroit Firemen’s Championship. Again the tournament will be played at Gowanie Country Club but this time it will be individual games with trophies going to low score, low firemen net and low net firemen seniors.
In order to participate in the low net scores you must have an established handicap. More information will be forthcoming on this event.
