The Detroit Firemen’s Fund is led by a dedicated board of active and retired Detroit Firefighters who bring decades of experience, commitment, and leadership to the organization. Their shared mission is to support the needs of injured firefighters, honor the fallen, and strengthen the bond between the Detroit Fire Department and the community we serve.

Under the guidance of President Joseph Palm and the leadership team—including Christopher Dixon, Michael O'Lear, and Christopher Alef—the board works tirelessly to uphold the proud traditions of the Fund. Together with board members James Montgomery, Shannon Moran, David Stewart, Patrick Schwartz, and Kim Fett, they ensure the Fund remains a trusted resource for Detroit Firefighters and their families.
